School Works!
provides annual programs that are usually conducted during
the school year. Some programs may vary dependent upon grant
funds. All schools that join and pay a membership fee can
use the services and place requests.
Some of our major programs are:
WISE, Workplace in Support
of Education: provides speakers
to the classroom
HUGS, Helping You Grow Successfully:
a reading mentor program specially
designed for elementary schools
Groundhog Job Shadowing:
students can tour or shadow a career in the workplace
Space Day:
Engineers come into the schools and speak on the space program
and career opportunities; assemblies of up to 100 children
Youth Leadership Camp:
sponsored by the local chamber
Traveling Trunks:
educational trunks from Michener and Mercer museums
We have additional events and opportunities
that also include music, the arts and contests.

have found a program that you would like to schedule, check
the box and click Request. Complete the registration form
and submit. Someone will contact you within the week to confirm
your registration and schedule your event.
